ReflectTM - Location
How many times a day does a potential sale walk out of the retail store because they have not found what they want, because the right size or color is nowhere to be found? If retailers were to completely fix the out of stock problem, they could increase same store sales by 3.7%. With the Overheer Reflect application, we offer a location module. Not only is the number of items counted during a scan, the general location of these items is also captured. For example, a customer could have two different locations the store floor and the stock room. This way an associate can get an item quickly for the customer even if it’s not where it’s supposed to be as the last known location of that item available. As the item is directly married to the RFID tag, the handheld has the ability to hone in on the tag in questions. It’s just a matter of telling the scanner what item it should be looking for.
